Hey all!

I am Shivani Rana, a 25-year-old engineer turned marketer with fairly high enthusiasm about life. I cherish small moments & big dreams.
I am a travel junkie, obsessive planner, midnight writer & an ardent tea lover!

Being a Fauji kid, travel was always an integral part of my life. Owing to my dad’s profession we were always moving & soon this became the way of life for me. While travel continued to enamor me, its meaning somehow got altered over the years.

Much more than just fun, travel today means liberation to me. It gets me closer to who I am. It helps me introspect. It gives me perspective to see what is happening around and how its changing things for me.
And most importantly it fills me with experiences, ones that teach me to look outwards and bring more humility to my life.
For this and many more such reasons, I make sure to press the hibernate button once in a while and indulge in a dialogue with myself.

As much as I love to travel, I am also extremely enthusiastic about Tea. I feel it is such a subconscious yet integral part of the quintessential Indian routine, so much so that it surpasses the realms of being a drink into that of being an emotion. Well, it’s special, to say the least!

So, in this endeavor of adding more meaning to two of my most loved things, I welcome you all to my space Maps and Masala Chai, a place where I’ll attempt to bring alive conversations & ideas.

Alright, people! With this in hand let’s set the ball rolling.

Welcome all!

Chai pee k jaeyega!

  1. You are a Pro at everything, Shivani ma’am 🙂
And I know, it’s been there on your list right from the start to have your own blog! Finally it’s here 🙂

Long live Maps and Masala Chai ❤️

  2. Dear Shivani

    1. Thanks a lot for your encouraging words and increadible support Uncle.
Means a lot coming from you 🙂

  3. Hi Shivani ,

we studied in the same college . But didn’t get a chance to get to know each other . Now by reading your intro . It’s pleasure knowing you 🙂
Could not agree more that You have a Great Wall !!

Good luck for your blogging journey ^^ xoxo

  4. I’m extremely pleased to discover this website. I wanted to thank you for ones time just for this fantastic read!! I absolutely enjoyed every part of it and i also have you bookmarked to see new stuff in your site.

  5. Thanks for the diverse tips contributed on this blog. I have noticed that many insurance providers offer shoppers generous reductions if they favor to insure a few cars with them. A significant variety of households own several autos these days, in particular those with more aged teenage kids still located at home, as well as the savings with policies may soon increase. So it will pay to look for a great deal.

  6. Thanks for the recommendations on credit repair on this amazing site. A few things i would tell people is always to give up the particular mentality they can buy today and shell out later. Like a society we all tend to try this for many issues. This includes getaways, furniture, and also items we wish. However, you should separate the wants out of the needs. While you’re working to raise your credit score make some sacrifices. For example it is possible to shop online to save cash or you can visit second hand retailers instead of pricey department stores regarding clothing.

  7. I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you design this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you?
Plz answer back as I’m looking to create my own blog and would like to find out
where u got this from. thanks

  8. I was curious if you ever considered changing the page
layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.

Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?

  9. We are a group of volunteers and starting a new scheme in our community.
Your site provided us with valuable information to work on. You have done a formidable job and
our whole community will be grateful to you.
